Why use Longwave Infrared Heaters?
Longwave Infrared is used to send heat directly to the object or person. It is essentially the same kind of radiated heat that we get from the sun (without any of the harmful effects). The emitters used are identical to those used in the heating of modern sauna cabins. They are rightly regarded as the best comfort heaters in the world.

How economical is the Pubsun IR heater?
The Pubsun IR heater uses 1.95 kW, which means as present rates each one costs around 22cent per hour. There is no raw material or gas storage tanks to bring to the heater or maintain, simply flick a switch and feel the heat. Also, in twenty three years we have never replaced an emitter in operational use, which really shows the “FIT & FORGET” aspect of these heaters.

Is there any maintenance required for the Pubsun IR?
Absolutely none. As previously stated, these superb heaters really are “FIT & FORGET”. The unit itself is guaranteed for two years, and the emitters are guaranteed for 10,000 hours use.

Why is Pubsun IR better than any other heating system?
The two main causes of cold in Ireland are wind chill factor and moisture content in the air, or “dampness”. Dampness is an insidious cold, which gets into our bones as it were. Are these heaters suitable for heating a large open building, or a small section of same?
As we all know, “heat rises”, therefore, when you attempt to heat a large open building such as a club or community hall, or a handball alley, most of the heat you generate from conventional heating systems, goes straight to the roof, instead of achieving its primary task, which is to heat people. The heat from the Pubsun IR, on the other hand, stays exactly where you put it. This means that if you want to heat, for example, the spectator area of a handball alley only, you have no problem.

How long will Pubsun IR heaters last?
Heaters that we sold twenty three years ago are still operating away faithfully for their owners. With no moving parts, they should offer years of trouble operation.
